Laurent Saillard Lucky You 2023

The 2023 ‘Lucky You!’ is here, Laurent’s most iconic cuvée. 2023 was fortunately an excellent vintage - much welcomed in the region after some trickier past years. This is Laurent’s eighth year at the Clos Roche Blanche estate, and happily 2023 has yielded both great quality and abundance of fruit. Lucky You is a blend of around 2/3 Sauvignon blanc with 1/3 Chardonnay. The two grapes work together effortlessly, the Sauvignon Blanc bringing beautiful bright fruits while the Chardonnay adds minerality and soft creamy texture. As usual, the wine is vibrant, punchy and immediate - and will keep long-time followers more than happy. A real classic.
